New construction project in Pentling: local council meets on October 30th!
The next local council meeting will take place on October 30, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. in the meeting room of the town hall in Pentling, Am Rathaus 5. Barbara Wilhelm, the first mayor, called the meeting, which has a variety of important topics on the agenda. The public part of the meeting includes, among other things, several preliminary building inquiries and a building application for an apartment building.
Overall, the following points are decided:
- Bauvoranfrage zum Neubau eines Gebäudes mit Tiefgarage, Gewerbeflächen und Wohnungen in der Bergstraße 13.

Focus on construction projects and inquiries
Among the preliminary building inquiries there is also a new application for an apartment building at Großberger Weg 2 a, area no. 22/1, which was resubmitted with marginal changes after a previous rejection. The building was lowered by 30 cm and the ridge height was reduced from 14.46 m to 13.46 m. However, the neighbors have left incomplete signatures, which could further delay approval, but community approval will be given as soon as the necessary signatures are submitted.
There is also a preliminary building application for a single-family home at Lärchenstrasse 4a, which is also awaiting approval due to the lack of sewer connections.
A major project is the redesign of the village square in Matting, the application for urban development funding for which has already been decided. The original cost estimate of €375,000 has been updated to approximately €499,045, with funding approved for €299,400, covering around 60% of the eligible costs. The urban development funding is supported by the federal government and is part of an extensive program to create sustainable urban development structures that benefit inner cities and town centers in order to remedy social grievances and address urban development functional losses, as städtebaufoerderung.info reports.
Current contract awards and new construction projects
The local council will also decide on the award of contracts. This includes the purchase of broadband pipes and house connections in Ziegelweg/Ziegelackerweg, which is estimated at €24,490.20. Planning contracts worth around €11,500 were also awarded for the new construction yard, which is now to be partly constructed using reinforced concrete. The building yard's project, which is to be built externally using wooden panel construction, aims to improve energy efficiency and ecological aspects.
This meeting is seen as a crucial step for community building development in Pentling. Citizens are cordially invited to attend the meeting and find out about the planned measures and their impact on the community.
