The G6 - House for Youth, Education and Culture will be the venue for a special children's theater on Friday, November 29, 2024. The “Theater vom Rabenberg” brings the popular play “Pettersson and Findus – Petterson gets a Christmas visitor” to the stage. The story revolves around the little cat Findus, who desperately wants Santa Claus to visit him. But Santa Claus usually doesn't have time for cats, which makes the situation complicated for Findus.
In the story, Christmas is just around the corner and old Pettersson has also sprained his ankle, which makes preparations for the holiday even more difficult. Findus fears this will be the worst Christmas of his life. But as is often the case in stories, there is a twist here that resolves the event in a humorous way. The piece is performed as a stick puppet game, which makes it particularly vivid and entertaining for children.
Performance details
Performances will take place on November 29th at 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The piece lasts around 50 minutes and is aimed at children aged 4 and over. Tickets are available from the Neumarkt city youth office, which is located at Türmergasse 11. The price of an entry ticket is 9 euros, making it an affordable option for families looking for a fun-filled afternoon.
The play promises to be an experience not only for the small audience, but also for the adults who come with their children. The combination of classic children's literature and the creative implementation by the “Theater vom Rabenberg” makes this event a highlight in the run-up to Christmas.
