On November 17, 2025, preparations for this year's Advent market in Hahnbach will be all about festive anticipation. The market will take place on November 29th and 30th, 2025 and promises a variety of offers and program items for young and old. The opening is scheduled for Saturday, November 29th at 3:30 p.m. The chairman of the cultural committee, Georg Götz, as well as mayor Bernhard Lindner, pastor Michael Birner and hunting horn players will be present at this festive event.
In the run-up to the market, members of the Hahnbach Cultural Committee and interested clubs took part in a preliminary meeting at the Upper Gate. A total of 41 grant applications were submitted and approved by associations. In total, 7,535 euros, including 5,360 euros for youth work, were distributed to the clubs, which recognizes the voluntary work in the community. Götz expressly thanked the clubs for their commitment.
Diverse program
An entertaining program awaits visitors on the first market day. Children from the Sweet Kindergarten “The Good Shepherd” will perform at 4 p.m., followed by the kindergarten children “Rattlestorks” Hahnbach at 5 p.m. On Sunday, November 30th, the market opens at 2 p.m. and at 3:30 p.m. the Hahnbacher Marktbläser NachwuX will show off their skills. The children from the “Blumenwiese” Hahnbach kindergarten will also be represented with a performance. On both days, Santa Claus will distribute sweets, and at 5 p.m. the Hahnbacher Marktbläser will give a musical performance.
Various offers ensure the physical well-being of the guests: The KBV serves grilled sausages, the girls' group offers chocolate fruits and hot Aperol, while the KLJB Iber sells waffles and punch. The women's association spoils visitors with punch and Christmas decorations. Sales stands run by the Mildner family, Mrs. Dietrich and Mrs. Rauch also offer Christmas decorations and gift items, while the CSU brings farmers' sighs and drinks. New items this year are turned wooden items and LED Christmas balloons that will enrich the market.
