Sponsorship between the city and the Bundeswehr
In his celebratory speech, the mayor emphasized the city's close ties to the Bundeswehr. He hopes that the new battalion will further strengthen the strong network of trust and cooperation. The 375th Panzer Artillery Battalion succeeds the 131st Panzer Artillery Battalion, which will move to Oberviechtach in the coming years. The sponsorship for this has existed since 2015.
