Together for nature: Volunteers wanted for the Apple Tree Alley!
The community of Kastl is looking for committed volunteers for a planting campaign. As part of the orchard pact, the community receives funding for 15 new apple trees. These are to be planted along the “Apple Tree Alley” from Wolframshof to the Torfhaus.
Necessary replacement plantings
The new trees are important to replace the apple trees, some of which are over 80 years old. This is intended to preserve the familiar landscape for future generations. A special thank you goes to the owner of the land who supports this project.
Looking for helpers
The community is now looking for volunteers to help plant the apple trees. Support with care will also be needed in the coming years. It is important that the young trees thrive and are watered during dry periods. This means the avenue remains an idyllic destination for walks and bike rides.
Planting start planned
The apple trees have already been ordered from the tree nursery. As soon as they are delivered, planting begins. Anyone interested can contact the municipality of Kastl or the mayor directlyHans Walterreport.
Together, the “Apple Tree Alley” can continue to bloom in all its splendor in the future. Every effort counts, and the community is looking forward to numerous volunteers!
