Reading lesson in Wackersdorf: school stories for little ABC shooters
The Wackersdorf library is preparing for a special day that will take place on September 6th. This afternoon the popular reading hour will be brought back to life. Teacher Manuela Schwendtner will captivate the children with exciting school stories and at the same time give them the opportunity to ask any questions they have about the upcoming start of school. This event is a great opportunity for the little ones to prepare for the new phase of their lives.
The story time is aimed primarily at future first graders who are looking forward to their first day of school. But children who move to a new school after fourth grade are also warmly invited. The event starts at 3:00 p.m. and will last approximately 30 minutes. It is important that interested parents register their children in advance to secure a spot. Registration can be done by calling 09431/3851-673.
A look at the event
Story time not only provides a fun way to hear stories, but also a platform for children to express their thoughts and concerns about school. Manuela Schwendtner will encourage the children to ask questions that are on their minds. This could be anything from “What happens on the first day of school?” to “How do I make new friends?” include. Such questions are completely normal and show that the children are thinking about their new phase of life.
The library is an important place for the community, and such events encourage children's reading and curiosity. Story time is not only a way to enjoy stories, but also an opportunity to share the excitement and fears that come with starting school. Parents are encouraged to accompany their children and attend this special event together.
