Musical winter journey: Schubert's song cycle in the Nittenau town hall

Things will get musical in Nittenau in November when Holger Kruschina and Peter Kiener present a special performance. The two artists invite visitors to a “winter journey” that will take place on November 3rd at 5 p.m. in the town hall. This event promises to be a highlight of the winter season.

Holger Kruschina, who is known as the local Catholic priest, will take over the singing parts, while Peter Kiener, a committed secondary school teacher from Wetterfeld, will accompany on the piano. Together they bring Franz Schubert's famous song cycle “Winterreise” to the stage. This work, which was written in 1827, consists of 24 poems by the poet Wilhelm Müller and is considered one of the most romantic song cycles in music history.
