Autumn problem waste collection: Neunburg cleans up!
An important campaign to dispose of problematic waste is imminent in Neunburg vorm Wald. The Schwandorf district office has organized a mobile collection that will take place in several districts from the end of September. This initiative aims to dispose of hazardous waste safely and in an environmentally friendly manner.
The collection begins on Thursday, September 26th and will be held in various parts of the city. On this day, citizens can hand in their problematic substances in Kröblitz, Seebarn, Kleinwinklarn and Penting. A collection point will also be set up at the parking lot on Scherrstraße in Neunburg vorm Wald.
Details on problematic waste collection
On Tuesday, October 1st, the collection will continue in Fuhrn and Kemnath near Fuhrn. The last date will take place on Saturday, October 5th, at the recycling center on Outer Neukirchner Straße. The exact drop-off times are as follows:
- 26. September:
- 09:00 – 09:20 Uhr: Schloßplatz in Kröblitz
- 09:40 – 10:40 Uhr: Parkplatz beim Sportplatz an der Scherrstraße
- 11:00 – 11:20 Uhr: Feuerwehrgerätehaus in Seebarn
- 11:40 – 12:00 Uhr: Alte Schule in Kleinwinklarn
- 13:00 – 13:20 Uhr: Kirchenvorplatz in Penting
- 1. Oktober:
- 08:00 – 08:20 Uhr: Dorfplatz in Fuhrn
- 08:50 – 09:10 Uhr: Vor der Kirche in Kemnath b. Fuhrn
- 5. Oktober:
- 13:45 – 14:45 Uhr: Recyclinghof in Neunburg vorm Wald
The collection accepts a variety of problem materials including:
- Altöl (maximal 5 Liter)
- Abbeizmittel und Autopflegemittel
- Batterien und Chemikalien
- Düngemittel und Lacke
- Reinigungsmittel und Pflanzenschutzmittel
It is important that waste is handed out in its original containers if possible. There is a 20 liter quantity limit for liquids to ensure safety. In addition, problematic waste should not be deposited at the collection point prematurely in order to avoid danger to children playing.
