The Maxhütte Holiday Fun 2024 celebrated its 20th anniversary with numerous excursions and activities for children.

Maxhütte-Haidhof is celebrating 20 years of holiday fun with exciting promotions!

This year the summer holiday program in Maxhütte-Haidhof was a very special highlight. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the holiday program under the direction of Ulrike Mutzbauer, numerous new excursions and activities were organized that thrilled the participants.

An unforgettable moment was the meeting of the two mascots, Ed Euromaus from Europa-Park Rust and MaxiMaus, the city mascot of Maxhütte-Haidhof. This event brought a lot of joy and was a beautiful sight for the children.

A variety of activities and excursions

Participants had the opportunity to take part in exciting excursions, including visits to the Rulantica water park and Europa-Park Rust. Trips to the Geiselwind leisure area, the Bayernpark, the Nuremberg Zoo and the Allgäu Skyline Park were also offered. For the more adventurous there was even the opportunity to go water skiing.

In addition to the large excursions, many exciting events were organized by local clubs and partners. New to the program was a BMX workshop in the dirt park, a trial bowling session at the sports bowling club in the city triangle, an adventure trip to a cement factory, a ranch day on a horse farm and a puppet theater workshop with Punch and Judy's pointed hat. Also at the potato festival of the Maxhütte-Birkenzell fruit and horticultural association. V. the children were able to get creative with printing potatoes.

First Mayor Rudolf Seidl and youth worker Andrea Ederer expressed their thanks to everyone involved who made the 2024 holiday program possible. "Your commitment was great! Without your commitment, such a program would not be possible," emphasized Seidl.

A special thank you went to Ulrike Mutzbauer and her team, who planned and carried out the trips and activities as usual. “Your excellent work is priceless,” said the mayor.

The grand finale of the holiday fun will take place on September 15th, when a family party will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the holiday program. Ulrike Mutzbauer and her team are already developing new ideas for the coming year, with Europa-Park once again on the list.
