Max Schmid: Successful completion of training in Maxhütte-Haidhof

In a ceremonial ceremony in the town hall of Maxhütte-Haidhof, Max Schmid was honored for his outstanding achievements during his training as an administrative assistant. Second Mayor Franz Brunner conveyed his warm congratulations and praised Schmid as a “friendly and hard-working employee” who is now strengthening the city administration team.

Max Schmid has successfully completed his three-year training, which began on September 1, 2021. The training included both practical and theoretical elements. During the practical training he worked directly in the city administration, while the theoretical part took place at the Matthäus Runtinger vocational school in Regensburg. He also took part in inter-company courses at the Bavarian Administrative School.

Extensive training

In addition to the regular training content, Schmid completed an extra-company measure at the Schwandorf district office and job center. During his training, he had the opportunity to get to know various administrative departments and even spend a week in the city's construction yard to gain practical experience in the craft sector.

The second mayor's congratulations were supported by trainer Alexander Spitzer and the head of the staff council, Astrid Mehringer. The latter emphasized that Schmid could be proud of his achievements and encouraged him to stay as he is. The colleagues also joined in the warm congratulations and were happy about the new colleague.

In the future, Max Schmid will work in the human resources office and in financial administration, where he will deal with topics such as school transport, kindergartens and participatory budgeting. “I am very much looking forward to my future work and working with my superiors and colleagues,” said Schmid at the end of the celebration.
