Unforgettable 4-day trips: adventures for children in Bavaria
In the first week of August, 54 children and 5 carers had an exciting time on this year's 4-day trips. From August 5th to 11th, the group went on an exciting journey that offered many unforgettable experiences.
The trip began with a visit to the Schleissheim Aircraft Shipyard, part of the German Museum in Munich. Here the children were able to learn more about the fascinating history of aviation while admiring the impressive 70 flying objects. After this educational excursion, the program included a cool down at “fresch”, a popular water park in Freising.
A day full of adventure
Tuesday was all about fun. The group spent the day at the Kristall Palm Beach spa and leisure pool in Stein near Nuremberg. With 15 slides, a large wave pool and a lazy river, there was something for everyone. After an eventful day, the children took a day off to recover.
On Thursday morning we went to the Irgenöd Zoo, where the children were able to marvel at over 150 species of exotic birds and many interesting mammals from all over the world. The afternoon was again spent in a leisure and adventure pool, this time in the “elypso” in Deggendorf, where the children had a lot of fun.
The last day of the trip was a highlight: the group visited the Skyline Park in Allgäu, the largest amusement park in Bavaria. Here the children could choose from over 60 different attractions and rides. The wild water rides in particular were a big hit in the summer temperatures.
