Schierling says goodbye to trainees: A new path for Melanie and Thomas

In August, the market town of Schierling took a significant step in the professional development of its trainees. The two recent graduates, Melanie Mayer and Thomas Lehner, completed their training at the administration school with flying colors. Her dedicated work has noticeably enriched the team at the town hall during her training period.

Thomas Lehner has decided to continue his career in the town hall. During his training, he stood out for his reliability and high motivation. In the future, he will work in the personnel office and take care of procurement for the fire department. Melanie Mayer, on the other hand, has decided to continue her school career and will attend vocational secondary school (BOS) in order to further expand her qualifications.

Appreciation of achievements

Mayor Christian Kiendl acknowledged the excellent achievements of the two trainees at the farewell ceremony. "It was a pleasure for us to train Melanie and Thomas in our administration. They not only impressed professionally, but were also a great personal asset to our team. We are happy that Thomas is staying with us and are looking forward to his further development," said Kiendl. He thanked Thomas for his valuable contribution to the administration.

The training to become an administrative assistant takes place in the dual system, which means that the trainees gain practical experience both at the vocational school in Regensburg and in market administration. In order to deepen the knowledge learned, in-service instruction took place, which was supported by the Bavarian Administrative School. This institution also conducted the final examination, which the trainees successfully passed.
