Citizens’ dialogue “Heimatdialog.Bayern”: Your vote counts!

The Bavarian government has given the starting signal for a new civil dialogue entitled “Heimatdialog.Bavaria – Future prospects for coexistence in our society”. The aim of this initiative is to actively involve citizens in shaping their homeland. Finance and Home Affairs Minister Albert Füracker emphasizes that it is important to hear people's opinions and ideas in order to find joint solutions to the challenges that are currently affecting Bavaria.

From now on, anyone interested has the opportunity to take part in the regional citizen dialogues both online and in person. These take place in various cities, including Memmingen, Bamberg, Landshut and Regensburg. The minister emphasizes that the dialogue offers a platform to incorporate citizens' experiences into political strategies and thus promote strong cooperation.

Dates and locations of the citizen dialogues

The citizen dialogues are planned for the following dates and locations:

  • 1. Oktober 2024 in Memmingen, Stadthalle Memmingen (Platz der Deutschen Einheit 1, 87700 Memmingen)
  • 12. November 2024 in Bamberg, Harmoniesäle Bamberg (Schillerplatz 7, 96047 Bamberg)
  • 20. Februar 2025 in Landshut, Stadtsäle Bernlochner (Ländtorplatz 2-5, 84028 Landshut)
  • 13. März 2025 in Regensburg, marinaforum Regensburg (Johanna-Dachs-Straße 46, 93055 Regensburg)

The events start at 6:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m. This gives citizens enough time to voice their concerns and ideas.

In addition to the face-to-face meetings, there is also one Online survey, which allows citizens to express their opinions from the comfort of their own homes. Further information and details about the dialogues can be found on the official website of the project: Home Dialogue.Bavaria.
