Laaber Community Meeting: Budget 2024 and new treasurer
At the last meeting of the Laaber Community Assembly, which took place on September 16, 2024, important financial decisions affecting the administrative community were made. The chairman presented the annual financial statements for the 2023 financial year, which were prepared by the Regensburg Real Tax Office. This calculation shows that the administrative budget ended with income and expenditure of 1,316,220.81 euros, while the asset budget was 8,906.60 euros. The meeting took note of the results of the annual accounts.
Another central point of the meeting was the adoption of the budget for 2024. This was approved unanimously and provides for income and expenditure of 1,369,990 euros for the administrative budget. The asset budget is set at 65,000 euros. Compared to the previous year, the levy requirement increases by 40,015 euros to a total of 950,785 euros. This results in a levy of 107.52 euros per resident, which represents an increase compared to 102.54 euros in 2023.
New treasurer and registrar
The meeting also took the opportunity to announce personnel changes. Klaus Hilpert was appointed as the new treasurer, while Martina Schäffer and Susanne Grabinger were appointed as deputy treasurers. The previous treasurers were removed from their positions.
There were also changes in the registry office. The appointments of two former employees as registrars were revoked. Philipp Eichenseer-Dießl has been appointed as the new head of the registry office, and Veronika Zwickl will in future work as registrar for the Laaber registry office district.
New printing service provider for newsletters
Another item on the agenda was the contracting out of printing the newsletter. The Chairman informed those present that the printing contract had been awarded to a new printing company, which could potentially lead to an improvement in quality and efficiency.
