At the same time, road users in Berlin-Köpenick face similar challenges. New construction work on the S-Bahn line will begin on Wednesday, which will lead to a complete closure of Bahnhofstrasse. This will last from October 23rd to November 4th and affects not only car traffic, but also BVG, pedestrian and bicycle traffic. The reason for this closure is the dismantling of an auxiliary bridge that was in use during the renovation work at Köpenick train station.
