Neumarkt i.d.OPf. starts new string ensembles for all age groups

The singing and music school of the city of Neumarkt i.d.OPf. has exciting news for music enthusiasts! This school year, two new string ensembles will be created, led by the talented violin teachers Lina Jarvers and Mónica Sardón Hidalgo. This initiative aims to provide young musicians with a platform to develop their skills and make music together.

The first ensemble, the “Junior Virtuosen”, is aimed at children between the ages of 7 and 11. To become part of this group, participants should have at least one year of experience with their instrument. Here the young musicians can discover the joy of making music together in a creative environment. It's not just about learning notes, but also about interaction and the development of a musical community.

Advanced musicians welcome

For older and more experienced musicians there is the string ensemble “Neumarkt Streicher”, which is aimed at young people aged 12 and over as well as adults. This ensemble is ideal for those who have already been playing their instrument for several years and want to further develop their skills. Those returning to the game who may not have played for a while are also welcome to join. Rehearsals for the “Junior Virtuosen” take place every Tuesday from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., while the “Neumarkt Streicher” rehearse from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.

Registration for both ensembles is now possible. Those interested can contact the music school directly for further information. The new ensembles offer an excellent opportunity to become part of an inspiring project and continue your musical journey in a supportive environment.
