The memorial service for Remembrance Day will take place on November 17, 2024 in Königstein and Kürmreuth. The public is warmly invited to take part.
Funeral service in Königstein
The clubs will line up at 7:30 a.m. at the town hall in Königstein. The march to the Catholic church begins at 7:45 a.m. The service starts at 8 a.m. The funeral march to the memorial then takes place. The installation will take place at the war memorial, followed by a memorial service with the laying of a wreath. The public is asked to participate in the funeral service in large numbers.
Note: The Protestant service begins at 9:30 a.m.
Funeral service in Kürmreuth
In Kürmreuth, the clubs line up at the playground at 10.15 a.m. This is followed by the funeral march to the memorial. Here, too, there will be a lineup at the war memorial, a memorial service and a wreath-laying ceremony. The public is asked to participate in numerous ways.
