Eleven new citizens: Königstein celebrates newborns with tree planting

The registry office in Königstein has registered eleven births since October 2023. Six girls and five boys were born during this time. Four of these children come from the Kürmreuth area. mayorJörk Kadukis happy about the new generation in the market town. He explains: “I am very pleased that our market town is getting new blood.”

New kindergarten is being planned

In order to do justice to the new citizens of the world, the mayor promises to provide everyone with a place in kindergarten. Therefore, a new kindergarten with six groups is currently being built. The shell is scheduled to be completed by December 2025.

Tree as a welcome gift

Presented to welcome the newbornsJörk Kadukparents each with a voucher for a tree. Families can plant this in their own garden. If there is no garden, a suitable place can be found on community property. “This is intended to maintain the beautiful old custom of planting a tree at the birth of a child,” said the mayor. After the handover, he invites those present to have a snack.
