Help shape it: New city quarter planned on the Bürgerbräu site

The city of Weiden is planning an exciting redesign of the former Bürgerbräu site. The new development plan No. 61 26 336, which covers the areas between Auenstrasse and Schabnerstrasse, is intended to create the legal basis for a modern urban district. This quarter will not only offer living space, but also space for businesses and an office for the State Office of Finance.

The city administration invites all citizens to actively participate in the planning. From September 23rd to October 25th, those interested can view the second version of the development plan on the city's website. For those who would prefer to visit in person, the planning documents are available in the city planning office in the New Town Hall. To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to find out more, an appointment is recommended.

Insight into the planning

The city of Weiden wants to ensure that citizens are informed about the key aspects of the planning. This also includes how the changes might affect the surrounding area and possibly your own property. Citizens have the opportunity to express their opinions, suggestions or concerns. This can be done either by email to city planning or directly in writing.

The city administration encourages everyone to get actively involved and raise their voices. It is an opportunity to help shape the development of the district and ensure that the needs of the community are taken into account. Citizen participation is an important part of the planning process, and the city looks forward to receiving a lot of feedback.
