25 years of service: Kathrin Schwarz is honored for her services
A very special event took place in September in the Schwarzenfeld administrative community. The three mayors of Schwarzenfeld, Stulln and Schwarzach b. Nabburg came together to honor an outstanding achievement: Kathrin Schwarz, the managing director of the administrative community, celebrated her 25th anniversary. This honor is not only a sign of respect, but also a recognition of her many years of dedicated work in the town hall.
Kathrin Schwarz began her career on September 1, 1999, when she joined the administrative community as the first trainee after a 12-year break. Under the leadership of Mayor Josef Meier, she got a taste of administration for the first time. Her journey began in the building department, where she quickly rose through the ranks and qualified as a trainer. In 2014 she was appointed deputy manager and took over as manager three years later. Since then, she has described her work as varied and exciting, as no two days are the same.
Appreciation from the mayors
At the ceremony, Mayor Peter Neumeier of Schwarzenfeld presented Kathrin Schwarz with a certificate, flowers and a present. He thanked her for her tireless efforts and emphasized that she was significantly involved in the digital transformation of the administration. This development was recently recognized by the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital with the “Digital Office” seal, making VG Schwarzenfeld a pioneer in this area.
Hans Prechtl, the mayor of Stulln, emphasized Kathrin Schwarz's versatility and specialist knowledge. He praised her reliability and the high esteem in which she is held by both the mayors and the committees. “You can always count on them,” he said. Franz Grabinger, Mayor of Schwarzach, emphasized the continuity and comprehensive knowledge that Kathrin Schwarz brings to the management. He is optimistic about the future and is convinced that the administrative team will continue to work together successfully under her leadership.
