Remembrance Day is just around the corner. This year it will be celebrated on November 16th and 17th, 2024. The day commemorates the victims of war and violence. It is also a reminder not to forget the challenges of today. Peace and cohesion are more important than ever.
Commemorative events in the region
A memorial service will take place in Fischbach on Saturday, November 16th at 4 p.m. Afterwards there will be a celebration at the war memorial. The event also starts in Nittenau on November 16th. The line-up on Jahnweg will take place at 5.20 p.m. The march to the war memorial is planned for 5:30 p.m. A celebration will take place there at 5:40 p.m., followed by a memorial service in the town parish church at 6 p.m. On Sunday, November 17th, a memorial service will be held in Stefling at 9 a.m. followed by a celebration at the memorial chapel.
Call for remembrance
