Autumn problem waste collection: dates in Neunburg vorm Wald

An important campaign to dispose of problematic waste is imminent in Neunburg vorm Wald. The Schwandorf District Office has announced a mobile collection that will take place in several districts from the end of September. This initiative aims to dispose of hazardous waste safely and in an environmentally friendly manner.

The collection begins on Thursday, September 26th and will be held in various parts of the city. On this day, citizens in Kröblitz, Seebarn, Kleinwinklarn and Penting can hand in their problematic substances. A collection point will also be set up at the parking lot on Scherrstrasse in Neunburg. The exact times are important to ensure that waste is dropped off on time.

Collection dates and locations

On September 26th, mobile problem waste collection will take place at the following locations:

  • 09:00 – 09:20 Uhr am Schloßplatz in Kröblitz
  • 09:40 – 10:40 Uhr am Parkplatz beim Sportplatz an der Scherrstraße
  • 11:00 – 11:20 Uhr beim neuen Feuerwehrgerätehaus in Seebarn
  • 11:40 – 12:00 Uhr oberhalb der alten Schule in Kleinwinklarn (DGH)
  • 13:00 – 13:20 Uhr am Kirchenvorplatz in Penting

The collection will continue on Tuesday, October 1st, in Fuhrn and Kemnath. Here are the drop-off times:

  • 08:00 – 08:20 Uhr am Dorfplatz in Fuhrn
  • 08:50 – 09:10 Uhr vor der Kirche in Kemnath b. Fuhrn

The last collection will take place at the recycling center on Outer Neukirchner Straße in Neunburg on Saturday, October 5th, from 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Citizens can donate a variety of problematic substances, including:

  • Altöl (maximal 5 Liter aus privatem Kfz-Ölwechsel)
  • Abbeizmittel und Autopflegemittel
  • Batterien und Bremsflüssigkeit
  • Chemikalien aus Heimlaboren
  • Düngemittel und Lacke
  • Leuchtstoff- und Energiesparlampen

It is important that waste is delivered in its original containers if possible. If refilling is necessary, the transport containers should be well closed and labeled. A quantity limit of 20 liters applies to liquids, while used oil is limited to 5 liters.

However, some waste is not accepted, including old tires, household waste and commercial hazardous waste. Fluorescent bulbs can also be returned to points of sale, providing a convenient alternative.

To ensure safety, problematic waste may not be deposited at the collection point prematurely. This is particularly important to avoid danger to children playing. The waste must be handed over directly to specialist personnel.
