Dementia Week 2024: Art and culture for those affected in Sulzbach-Rosenberg

The Bavarian Dementia Week is just around the corner and will take place this year from September 20th to 29th, 2024. This special week is dedicated to the topic of dementia and features numerous events designed to raise awareness of the needs of people with dementia. A highlight of the week is the event “Dementia. Moves. Culture.”, which will take place on Monday, September 23, 2024, in Sulzbach-Rosenberg.

At this event, visitors can expect an exciting improvisational theater that deals with the topic of dementia in a creative way. There will also be a panel discussion in which experts will talk about the role of art and culture for people with dementia. This discussion will also present existing projects of the Bavarian Dementia Fund as well as regional offers that aim to enrich the lives of those affected.

The event will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Capitol-Bild & Bühne, Bayreuther Straße 4, 92237 Sulzbach-Rosenberg. The event is organized by the Bavarian State Office for Nursing in collaboration with the Health Region plus AM / AS network.
