On January 9, 2026, the municipality of Mintraching announced the election proposals submitted for the upcoming municipal elections. The election of the first mayor will take place on March 8, 2026, and the deadline for submitting nominations was January 8, 2026 at 6 p.m. The municipality's returning officer, Steininger, has now officially published the proposals, which took place today, January 9, 2026.
A total of three parties have submitted their candidates who would like to run for mayor. The list of submitted proposals includes:

Bewerber: Mätzner Wolfgang, Prokurist, Jahrgang 1984, wohnhaft in Auhof. - FREIE WÄHLER / FREIE WÄHLER Mintraching
Bewerberin: Seebauer-Sperl Regina, M.A., Fachangestellte, Jahrgang 1982, und derzeitiges Mitglied des Gemeinderats. - Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands
Bewerberin: Ritt-Frank Angelika, Dipl.-Soz.päd. (FH), aktuelle erste Bürgermeisterin, Kreisrätin sowie stellvertretende Vorsitzende der Zweckverbände in Mintraching.
