New seniors offer in Brennberg: Support from October 2024
There is exciting news for seniors in the Brennberg community. From October 2024, a new offer will be launched that will act as an alternative to the originally planned senior citizens' home. The municipality has set itself the goal of improving the quality of life and living situation of older people and sees this new concept as a valuable opportunity to achieve this.
The new offer is being developed in close collaboration with the Röger nursing service and includes a comprehensive package of support services. From October 1st there will be monthly community consultation hours in the hospital, which will take place on the first Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A nursing specialist will be available to answer questions about care and offer support.
Regular events and offers
In addition to the consultation hours, there will also be regular specialist lectures for caring relatives. These lectures are free and are intended to provide valuable information and assistance. The exact dates will be announced in good time so that those interested have the opportunity to take part.
Another highlight is the “Brennberg Day”, which takes place every first Thursday of the month in the Röger daycare center. This day is aimed at visitors with a level of care that is billed through the care insurance fund. For guests without a care level, a fee of 25 euros is charged, which covers the costs of pick-up and delivery, breakfast, lunch, afternoon coffee and social care. Prior registration is required to secure participation.
With these new offers, the municipality of Brennberg shows that it takes the needs of its older citizens seriously and is actively working on their well-being. The initiatives are a step in the right direction to provide better support and a better quality of life for seniors in the community.
