Honoring athletes 2024: Report successes now!

A special event is coming up in the community of Barbing: the 2024 Sports Awards. This event aims to honor the outstanding achievements of athletes who have achieved remarkable successes in recent months. The community invites everyone to register their successful athletes and teams by November 4, 2024.

Important criteria for reporting

Only individual athletes and teams that have won championships at the district, state or national level are taken into account for the award. The athletes must have achieved at least 1st, 2nd or 3rd place to be eligible for the honor. This ensures that recognition goes to those who have excelled in their sport.

For teams, such as football or table tennis teams, every championship, regardless of division, is honored. This means that teams playing in lower leagues also have the opportunity to be recognized for their achievements. However, regional championships are not included in the honor, which means that only the higher competitions are taken into account.

The Athlete Honors are not only a way to celebrate the athletes' achievements, but also an opportunity for the community to show their support for sports and athletic participation. It is a moment of pride for everyone involved and an incentive for future achievements.
