Autumn craft activity: Children design feeding pots for birds
The OGV Deining recently organized an exciting autumn campaign that was very well received by the children in the community. A total of 60 children took part in the creative event, where they made clay feeding pots. These pots were not only shaped, but also painted and individually designed with a lot of imagination. The children had the opportunity to put together their own bird food before filling the pots with it. It was a happy sight to see how the little ones were doing it with enthusiasm and joy in the autumnal temperatures.
Creativity and teamwork
The event not only gave the children the opportunity to be creative, but also encouraged teamwork and the use of natural materials. After the crafting, there was a well-deserved refreshment: the children were able to enjoy freshly baked bread and enjoy homemade apple juice, which was made from apples from Deininger Kreuzberg. These treats added extra joy and made the day an unforgettable experience.
The feeding pots, which the children designed with a lot of love and dedication, will now serve as feeding places for the birds in the area over the winter. This campaign not only shows the children's creativity, but also the OGV Deining's commitment to supporting nature and wildlife.
