New bus timetables from September: Berngau better connected!

The city of Berngau has exciting news for all commuters and travelers! From September 1st, 2024, new timetables for regular services will come into force, which will bring with them some significant improvements.
A particularly pleasing aspect is the increased frequency of bus line 516. This line will now run to Neumarkt every hour, which will make the city much easier to reach. In addition, the train station in Allersberg is also served hourly, improving access to important train connections to Nuremberg, Regensburg and Munich.
Details about the new travel times
The new timetables offer a variety of departure times, allowing passengers to travel conveniently. Here are some of the key times for bus route 516:
- 05:42 Uhr – Abfahrt Ramoldplatz
- 05:55 Uhr – Ankunft in Neumarkt
- 06:09 Uhr – RE50 Richtung Regensburg
- 06:12 Uhr – S1 Richtung Nürnberg
- 06:42 Uhr – Abfahrt Ramoldplatz
- 06:55 Uhr – Ankunft in Neumarkt
- 07:10 Uhr – Agilis Richtung Regensburg
- 07:12 Uhr – S1 Richtung Nürnberg
In addition to the changes to route 516, bus routes 505, 506, 514, 592 and 599 are also affected by the new timetables. These adjustments are intended to better meet the needs of passengers and promote the use of public transport.

It is important to note that the new timetables are currently not displayed correctly in the VGN connection information. An adjustment has already been requested and will take place shortly.
