The “bayernwerk SchadensMelder” enables citizens to report defective street lighting directly to the city administration via their smartphone. The use is uncomplicated. A special app is not required. The web app can be accessed via a link or by scanning a QR code. Users can save the “bayernwerk SchadensMelder” as a bookmark or place it as an icon on the smartphone screen.
Easy to report damage
Reporting street lighting damage is done by selecting the light point number that can be found on each pole. Alternatively, the defective lamp can be selected using a map function. If the cell phone's GPS function is activated, the location of the street lamp is displayed directly. If someone reports damage, they will immediately receive a notification if it has already been reported.
The message is immediately forwarded to the network operator. Personal data that is entered optionally is only used for queries.
Photo function for further defects
Other defects can also be sent to the municipality using the “Take a photo” function. This makes it easier to document and process damage.
Danger imminent
If there is imminent danger, it is important to immediately inform the responsible network operator by telephone. The fault number for electricity is 0941-28 00 33 66 and for gas 0941-28 00 33 55.
