Candlelight shopping in Mering: Magical night full of experiences!

This will take place in the center of Meringen on Friday, November 21st, 2025Candlelight shoppingtake place. The event will last from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and has been held in November for many years. In contrast to previous years, in which extensive road closures were necessary, this year a new concept is being implemented that does not provide for stands on the streets, but rather focuses on the extended opening hours of the participating shops and restaurants. Mering Aktuell e.V., in collaboration with the market town of Mering, organized this special shopping night.

One goal of the event is to present the offers from Meringen's shops under the motto "Don't leave, buy locally!" encourage people to shop locally. To create a welcoming atmosphere, a candlelight path and special lighting will be provided in some buildings. The attractions take place exclusively in shops or restaurants, with the owners of the businesses making the decision about the offers.

Rewards for the little ones

Children are invited to show up with lanterns and take part in a stamp collection event. These cards are available in participating stores. There will be a reward for a full stamp card in the market manager's office after the event. This not only rewards shopping, but also creates a festive atmosphere.

Tickets for candlelight shopping are only available online via feverup.com or the Fever app. There are no tickets available on site and it is recommended that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the event begins.
