On September 18, 2024, citizens will have the opportunity to hand in their problematic waste at the construction yard. Acceptance takes place within a set time frame from 1:20 p.m. to 2:05 p.m. This is an important opportunity to dispose of hazardous substances in an environmentally friendly manner.
Important information about submission
To ensure the safety of everyone, especially children playing in the area, it is essential that problem waste is not left at the drop-off point before the collection vehicle arrives. The collection must be carried out in person and the waste must be handed over directly to the trained specialist staff. It is recommended to bring the substances in their original containers. If decanting is necessary, it is important to clearly label the containers. There is also a quantity limit for liquids, which is set at a maximum of 20 liters per person.
Various types of waste can be submitted for problem waste collection. These include, among others:
- Abbeizmittel
- Autopflegemittel
- Akkus und Batterien
- Chemikalien wie Säuren und Laugen
- Desinfektionsmittel
- Düngemittel, die nicht mehr verwendet werden können
- Farb- und Lackreste (außer Dispersionsfarben)
- Insektensprays und Holzschutzmittel
- Reinigungsmittel und Rostschutzmittel
It is important to note that some waste, such as light bulbs and emulsion paint, will not be accepted for this collection and must instead be disposed of with general waste. The city of Stulln encourages all citizens to take advantage of this opportunity to dispose of their problematic waste in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
