Over 1,200 pairs of glasses for those in need: Nittenauer Initiative helps worldwide
The Nittenau city library carried out a successful glasses collection campaign. Over 1,200 pairs of glasses were collected for a good cause. This initiative aims to improve access to visual aids for people in developing countries.
Cooperation with LETLIFERS for future e.V.

A total of 1,210 pairs of glasses, including sunglasses and regular glasses, were dropped off at the city library. The library team is pleased about the large participation: “We are very proud that the people of Nittenau are making such a big contribution.”
Preparation for shipping
The glasses will now be taken to the Shipping Center in Düsseldorf. There they are prepared for the overseas container to Gambia.
