Shining winners despite the rain: district tennis championships
Last weekend, the 39th edition of the district tennis doubles championships was held at the TC Neutraubling facility. Despite the incessant rain, around 100 participants, including both young people and adults, came to demonstrate their skills.
The organization of the championships was in the hands of Tobias Koch and Andrea Reinisch, the two chairmen of the Neutraubling tennis club, as well as Harald Bauer from SSV Köfering. Due to the adverse weather conditions, the games were quickly moved to the tennis halls in Obertraubling and Neutraubling. Tobias Koch conveyed the best wishes from District Administrator Tanja Schweiger and warmly thanked all athletes for their commitment and fairness during the tournament. A special thank you also went to the club boards, sponsors and the numerous volunteers who supported the event.
