Art for everyone: Vibrant vernissage delights the Sinzinger audience!

On November 15, 2025, the dental practice of Dr. Sabine Schindler held an atmospheric vernissage for the exhibition “There Tomorrow, Here Today” by Kerstin Alice Fischer in Sinzing. Over 85 guests were present to appreciate the artist's works and talk to her. Cultural representative Reinhard Lautenschlager opened the evening and warmly welcomed those present.

Dr. In her speech, Sabine Schindler emphasized the importance of bringing art to people, especially to those who rarely visit galleries. This initiative is supported by Fischer's artistic talent, whose paintings build a bridge between art and everyday life. First Mayor Martin Brix applauded the idea and acknowledged the cultural benefit of such collaborations for the community.

Artistic vision and works

Renate Christin introduced the artist Kerstin Alice Fischer and spoke about her artistic development and her unmistakable handwriting. Fischer herself expressed the wish that her pictures speak to the viewer. Her paintings are characterized by powerful colors and clear figuration, which invite the visitor to enter into a dialogue with the works of art.

The exhibition will be on display in the dental practice until the end of 2025. Public viewings are scheduled for November 29th (10am-1pm) and December 13th (1pm-4pm). The works can also be viewed during the practice's regular opening hours, which are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Art as a therapeutic medium

Kerstin Alice Fischer not only brings her artistic training, but also her art therapy training into her works. This connection is intensively discussed in current research on art and health. The Art and Medicine Network at Charité Berlin promotes interdisciplinary collaboration between medicine, psychology and artistic practice in order to develop a broader understanding of art in therapy. The positive effects of art on the human organism have been extensively documented.

The connection between art and health shows that creative processes help people structure their experiences and understand themselves better. Michelle Riemer, an art therapist, has shown that creative expression helps patients discover hidden emotions and resources. The influence of art on mental health and the ability to cope with crises is a central aspect that is also visible in Fischer's approach.

Kerstin Alice Fischer's exhibition therefore not only represents an individual experience, but is also part of a larger discourse about the role of art in society. Art is increasingly recognized as a tool to promote self-reflection, resilience and inner balance, which underlines the relevance of such projects.
