Citizen participation in Schierling: Help shape retail!
The city of Schierling opens its doors to all interested citizens to find out about the latest developments in the retail sector. On Thursday, October 10, 2024, there will be a public participation event that will deal with development plan No. 61 “Special Schierling-Ost Retail Area”. This event provides a platform to discuss the plans and their implications.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Placidus-Heinrich elementary and middle school, which is located at Jakob-Brand-Straße 3a in Schierling. Here citizens can express their opinions and actively participate in the discussion.
Planning details
On October 17, 2023, the market town council passed the resolution to draw up development plan No. 61 and adapt the land use plan accordingly. The aim of these measures is to further develop the area, in which an Edeka supermarket and a gas station are already located, in a future-oriented manner. The plans are intended to help improve the infrastructure and strengthen retail in the region.
During citizen participation, the general goals and purposes of the planning are explained. Citizens have the opportunity to ask questions and contribute their suggestions. This is a valuable opportunity to hear residents' opinions and incorporate them into planning.
For anyone who would like to find out more in advance, the preliminary draft of the development plan and the planned changes to the land use plan can be viewed at the Schierling Market Building Department, Room 10, Dieselstrasse 13, 84069 Schierling. The documents can also be accessed online at www.schierling.de/rathaus/amtliches/bebauungsplaene.
The city of Schierling looks forward to active participation and is available to answer questions and suggestions at any time. It is important that citizens' voices are heard in order to shape the future of retail in Schierling together.
