The city library has introduced an exciting new offer for its little visitors. Children can now borrow Edurino, an innovative digital learning platform. This platform is particularly designed to teach the youngest children important basic skills in a playful way and is now made available in the city library.
Edurino is more than just an educational toy. It combines digital elements with physical characters that help children learn in a fun way. The platform is aimed at children of preschool and primary school age and promotes skills such as reading, writing and arithmetic. The city library recently purchased seven starter sets, four pens and nine figures to give children access to this valuable learning resource.
Background and funding
The purchase of these new media was made possible through the proceeds of a large flea market that took place in the Kulturhaus at the end of June. Numerous discarded books were sold there, which not only created space for new media, but also generated financial resources for additional city library projects. The team at the city library is thrilled to now be able to offer the children this modern learning opportunity.
