On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, a very special day will take place in the Bernhardswald town hall that revolves around the health of citizens. The so-called “Cardio Day” is organized by the community in collaboration with “Citizens Save Lives e.V.” and the “Red Cross Preparedness Bernhardswald-Wenzenbach”. The aim of this event is to educate the population about the use of defibrillators and to provide important information on first aid.
From 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. all interested citizens are invited to take part in this informative event. The event not only offers the opportunity to learn more about the life-saving devices, but also to receive practical first aid instructions. Defibrillators are devices used in the event of cardiac arrest to return the heart to a normal rhythm. It is important that as many people as possible know how to use these devices because every second counts in an emergency.
