Citizen survey on homeland: Your opinion counts for cohesion!
The Nuremberg University of Technology has launched an exciting initiative in collaboration with the Bavarian State Ministry for Home Affairs. As part of the “Homeland – more than a feeling” project, a citizen survey is being carried out that deals with social cohesion in rural regions of Bavaria. The university wants to find out how people in these areas experience cohesion and what suggestions they have to strengthen these communities.
The survey is an important opportunity for citizens to share their opinions and ideas. In order to make the results as meaningful as possible, active participation is sought. Everyone who lives in rural areas is invited to contribute their perspective and thus actively participate in shaping their home.
How you can participate
Those interested can take part in the survey by using the following link: Citizen survey. Alternatively, the project website is available, which provides further information: Project website.
Additionally, various materials are available on the website, including a QR code, text suggestions and the questionnaire in print format. These resources are intended to help citizens better prepare for the interview and express their thoughts clearly. Access to these materials is straightforward and encourages participation.
The deadline for the survey is expected to be October 14, 2024, although an extension of the period will be considered if necessary. The first results of the survey will be published on the project website by the end of the year, giving all participants the opportunity to see the impact of their contributions.
This citizen survey is not only an opportunity to raise your voice, but also a step towards a stronger community. The Nuremberg University of Technology and the Bavarian State Ministry for Home Affairs are committed to listening to citizens' opinions and incorporating them into research. It is an invitation to everyone to actively participate in shaping their home and promote social cohesion.
