Long-standing loyalty: Five public service employees honored

In a solemn ceremony, Mayor Markus Ochsenkühn honored five long-standing public service employees. This honor took place on September 19, 2024 and highlighted the remarkable loyalty and commitment of employees who have served in various positions over many years.

Stefan Rödl, who works as a clerk in the civil engineering administration, and Hubert Schmalisch, who heads the city treasury, were particularly in the spotlight. Both can look back on a proud 40 years of service. However, her absence due to health reasons has not diminished the recognition of her achievements. This long-term membership is a sign of stability and loyalty in public service.

More anniversaries

In addition to Rödl and Schmalisch, three other employees were also honored as they celebrated their 25th anniversary of service. Gerhard Straubmeier, the head of the building regulations office, Erwin Kienlein, the commercial manager in the building yard, and Alexander Liema, a painter in the municipal building yard, were recognized for their many years of cooperation and their contribution to urban development.
