The employees of the city gardening department have put up a Christmas tree in front of the town hall. It is a fir tree around 12 meters high. This fir tree was previously in a garden in Voggenthal.

This year the city is putting up a total of 17 larger Christmas trees in the city area. These trees are decorated with fairy lights. The festive lighting is intended to increase anticipation for the upcoming holidays. Setting up the trees is a popular custom in the region. The city administration is pleased to be able to offer citizens a contemplative atmosphere with this campaign.
