Laura Bierl becomes the first chairwoman of the newly elected parents' council of the Weidinger daycare center. The election took place in the “House of Little Friends”. She will lead the committee together with her deputy Lena Schönberger from Weiding. The parents have already set themselves many goals for the 2024/2025 crèche year.
First steps of the parent council
The new daycare center opened on September 1st. Now the parents' council faces its first challenge. The election was harmonious and quick. The entire board was elected in a short time. The parents would like to strengthen cooperation with the kindergarten and organize their own events. A first joint project is the St. Martin's Festival with the “over-three-year-olds” from Zelzer Straße. Saint Nicholas is also said to visit the nativity scene.
Planned activities
An Advent celebration for parents and children is also being planned. The mothers considered the idea of a cozy get-together. A big summer festival with an “open day” is planned for early summer next year. mayorDaniel Paulis pleased with the committed group. He thanks you for taking on responsibility. The church square in front of the crèche will be completed next summer. Then there will be a nice “open day”.
