110 new police officers celebrate their graduation in Fürth

In August, a celebratory event took place in the Fürth town hall at which 110 graduates of the 74th Bavarian Police Training Seminar received their examination certificates and appointment certificates. The ceremony was led by senior police officials, including the new riot police chief, PP Michael Dibowski, and the deputy department head of the VII BPA, POR Kevin Klier. EPHK Kurt Guggenberger, the director of the seminar, was also present and handed over the certificates.

The number 110 has a special meaning because it not only represents the number of graduates, but also symbolizes the police emergency number 110. This number represents safety and quick help in emergencies, which underlines the importance of the new police officers.

Solemn speeches and musical accompaniment

The event began with a warm welcome from PHK Florian Hinney, the deputy seminar leader. The celebration was accompanied musically by the “Tanzlmusi” ensemble of the Bavarian Police Orchestra, which created a festive atmosphere. The first mayor of Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Stefan Frank, congratulated the graduates in his speech and handed the floor over to POKin Sandra Wilfer, the deputy chairwoman of the staff council.

In his speech, PP Michael Dibowski highlighted the motivation and personal responsibility of the new officials. He emphasized the importance of the police family and the responsibility that comes with the job. “We are the guarantors of security and freedom in Bavaria,” he said, pointing out the challenges that the police service brings with it.

EPHK Guggenberger spoke about the training and its development over time. He encouraged the graduates to be proud of their achievements and noted that they should always pay attention to their own safety in order to return home to their families in good health.

Awards and achievements

Police chief Florian Deibele, the seminar speaker, reviewed the training from the participants' perspective and described it as an exciting journey. The best graduates of the seminar were particularly highlighted. In the sports category, Vera Sabisch, Julia Schöpplein and Rebecca Straub were honored, while Jonathan Wahl, Nico Kirchmeier and Johannes Altwasser achieved the best performances in the men's category.

Academic performance was also impressive. Niklas Schellhaus came third with 12.57 points, Christopher Jarausch took second place with 12.84 points, and Lea Lotze was the best in the seminar with an overall grade average of 13.37 points. This puts her in fourth place in Bavaria out of 624 exam participants.

After the ceremonial appointment and the distribution of certificates, the event continued with a buffet for around 550 guests, which initiated the social part of the evening.
