Successful regional budget 2024: 14 projects receive funding approval

The 2024 regional budget has proven to be a complete success after the Franconian Palatinate called for project inquiries at the end of October 2023. The response was overwhelming: a total of 21 applications were submitted and the jury set up specifically to evaluate the projects was able to approve 14 of these applications. This shows the great interest and active participation of the community in promoting regional initiatives.

Financing for the projects was secured with a total budget of 100,000 euros. After the approved projects have been implemented, 94,978.66 euros can now be used. This means that almost the entire budget was used, which speaks for the efficiency and success of the projects.

Outlook for 2025

The positive development of the regional budget will continue in the coming year. Another funding program is planned for 2025, but with a reduced budget of 75,000 euros. The call for project proposals will be made later this year, giving stakeholders in the region the opportunity to prepare their ideas in good time.
