Microcensus 2024: Your vote counts for Bavaria's future!
The microcensus, an important survey that is carried out annually, is currently underway in Bavaria. This survey, which also takes place throughout Germany, should not be confused with the census, which is a more comprehensive census. The microcensus focuses on the economic and social situation of the population and provides valuable data that is important for political decisions.
So far, around 70,000 citizens in Bavaria have already taken part in the survey. Interestingly, more than half of those surveyed gave their answers over the phone. Online participation is also very popular, showing that many people are using the digital option to provide their information. This data is crucial because it helps ensure that decisions are made on a solid basis of facts.
Participation and contact
The State Statistics Office will contact around 50,000 people by the end of the year to ensure their participation in the microcensus. A total of 120,000 people in Bavaria are required to provide information, which corresponds to around one percent of the population. This survey is not only a duty, but also an opportunity for citizens to make their voices heard and contribute to shaping the political landscape.
Participation in the microcensus is important in order to obtain a comprehensive picture of living conditions in Bavaria. The data collected not only helps politics, but also society as a whole in order to better respond to the needs of the population. Anyone who has not yet taken part should take the opportunity to contribute their opinions and experiences.
For further information, a document is available in the appendix, which contains detailed instructions on how to participate.
