On October 29, 2025, important information about the upcoming helicopter loading zone exercises in the Amberg-Sulzbach district was published. The exercises, entitled AE25-66, are being conducted by the US Army and will take place from November 3rd to November 28th, 2025. Nighttime exercises are also planned during this time, which could potentially cause noise and disruption to residents.

The form requires information about the injured parties, the type and amount of damage as well as specific details about the damage event. The application for compensation for maneuver damage must be submitted to the municipality within one month and to the Federal Agency within three months at the latest.
