At the last annual general meeting of the CSU Ebermannsdorf-Pittersberg, which took place in the Berggasthof Ebermannsdorf, Erich Meidinger was re-elected chairman. Political challenges and future directions

Günther Denk, chairman of the CSU parliamentary group in the local council, drew attention to the faction's difficult situation as a minority in the coalition of CSL, SPD and FW. Despite initial complications, targeted persuasion enabled majorities to be achieved in favor of our own proposals. Denk also noted that the parliamentary group is already preparing for the election campaign for the next local elections starting in mid-2024.

Financial issues are also in focus. Treasurer Kurt Bartmann gave insights into the financial situation and the need to have property tax revenue reassessed by the end of 2025. The adjustment in this area is intended to create a fair and sustainable financing basis for the community.

Internal engagement and member development

Julia Meidinger reported on the activities of the Junge Union (JU), while local manager Hermann Sturm pointed out membership development and the urgent need to recruit new members. These strategic steps are crucial for the future strengthening of the party in the region.

In the new elections, Erich Meidinger was confirmed as chairman, the deputy chairmen Thomas Wiedenbauer, Josef Gilch and Hubert Harrer as well as treasurer Kurt Bartmann and secretary Christian Götz. The assessors include Jürgen Rieger, Jörg Henseleit, Markus Beer, Georg Straller, Christine Augsberger, Stephan Mandl, Thomas Krybus and Ingo Wiesgickl-Lasser. The auditors are Hans Bauer and Alfred Mendl. This structure is intended to ensure the local association's efficiency and ability to act in the future.
