Maintenance work on the waterworks: Drinking water supply in Altötting secured

The joint waterworks of the city of Altötting, Neuötting and the municipality of Winhöring will carry out maintenance work on the water activated carbon filter system on Monday, November 11, 2024. The system is temporarily switched off. The reason for this is the regular replacement of the activated carbon. This serves to ensure the quality of the food and drinking water.

Changes in drinking water supply

During the maintenance work, the drinking water supply to the three communities will be ensured by switching to the Altötting well. The composition of the drinking water will change slightly as a result. The degree of hardness reaches 7.6°dH after a short time. This affects the supply areas of the city of Altötting, the city of Neuötting and the municipality of Winhöring.

Information about restarting

The community water supply is committed to completing the work as quickly as possible. It provides information about the restart after maintenance work has been completed.
