Joint youth work: Altötting and Neuötting expand to Winhöring

The cities of Altötting and Neuötting are expanding their youth work. The youth carers from Alt-Neuöttinger Youth Work (ANJAR) have been active in Winhöring since November 1, 2023. This initiative is now celebrating its 25th anniversary.

New agreement for Winhöring

The Winhöring local council made a fundamental decision in November 2023. A special purpose agreement will be signed in September 2024. This agreement is valid for two years. It regulates that the ANJAR team, consisting of the leaderKathrin Schuesslerand the youth carersSebastian MaierandJanik Henneberger, in Winhöring offers youth work for 20 hours per week.

Youth work doesn’t just take place in elementary and middle schools. The team also visits the well-known meeting places for young people in the community. The aim is to get into conversation with young people. The adolescents can also take part in various offers, such as leisure trips.

Objectives of the ANJAR

The main objective of ANJAR remains unchanged. The specialists want to specifically address the problems of young people. If necessary, they offer advice and assistance.
