The Volksbühne Mering is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Ceremony with many guests
The first chairman,Gottfried Wohlmuth, welcomes the guests and introduces the various groups of the association. These include the active members of the puppet theater, the Santa Claus team and the former actors of the Volkstheater. The theater players in particular are very happy to meet again after many years. The many pieces they have brought to the stage together immediately spark lively conversations.

Tradition and long-standing members
The club is not only known for drama and puppet theater. The members have been visiting families in and around Mering as Saint Bishop Nicholas and Knecht Ruprecht for almost 50 years. This beautiful tradition delights children year after year. Six people have been members of the Volksbühne since the club was founded.
