On September 11, 2024, a significant step was taken in the region's energy supply. The founding of Paartal-Energie GmbH is a sign of the change towards a more sustainable and reliable energy future. After the notary appointment with all shareholders, the product portfolio is now being developed, which will supply private, commercial and municipal customers in Paartal with green electricity from the middle of next year.
Managing directors Jürgen Haindl, who is also mayor of Markt Hohenwart, and Arno Nunn from Energie Südbayern expressed optimism about the new initiative. “We want to offer local people clean energy that is not only reliable but also available at fair prices,” said Haindl. “With this initiative, we are contributing to sustainable energy supply while at the same time securing value creation in our region,” added Nunn.
Strong partners for a sustainable future
Paartal-Energie GmbH is supported by a strong community of municipal partners. These include the city of Aichach, the Hohenwart municipal company, the Schrobenhausen municipal utility as well as the Kühbach and Inchenhofen markets and the municipality of Dasing. These partners have come together to take responsibility for the region's electricity supply together with Energie Südbayern GmbH.
Paartal-Energie's plans go beyond pure power supply. There are various projects in the pipeline that aim to actively promote the energy transition in the region. The shareholders agree that local energy supply is not only ecologically sensible, but also economically advantageous. Using regional resources reduces dependence on external energy providers, which ultimately benefits the entire region.
Preparations for the start of marketing are already in full swing. Those responsible are confident that Paartal-Energie GmbH will not only become an important player in the field of renewable energies, but can also be a role model for other regions that want to take similar steps towards a sustainable energy supply.
